The boy is on his way! He called this evening about 6:30 our time from the Salt Lake Airport. His flight was leaving at 6:45 our time. He is flying to Los Angeles, then boarding a flight to Taipei, Taiwan, a 13 hr flight. From there he'll fly to Manila, Philippines. He'll be pretty jet lagged when he arrives. Manila is 16 hours ahead of us so he'll skip a day. There are about 30 or 40 missionaries in his group flying together so he won't be lonely.
He asked that everyone keep him in his prayers for a safe journey. I have updated the blog with his latest email. http://advelddavj.blogspot.com
